I'd be more surprised if they didn't have any at Lakenheath, given the clear role F15s have in air defence, which the article misses the fact F15E was the first plane capable of carrying the B61-12 and Lakenheath has had those for over 30 years. |  | |  |

I occasionally had to work in the Nuclear weapon storage area at Lakenheath in the 80's, it was difficult and a pain to get in and if you did not get the entry procedure correct they let you in the first gate but then wouldn't let you in through the next gate or out of the first. I agree with Stonojnr, I would be very surprised if they did actually remove all nuclear weapons from Lakenheath. |  | |  |
